ITT Radio Society & ITTFM
The ITT Radio Society and student radio station ITTFM was formed in 2004. The society broadcasts twice a year during the college semester- for one week in September and one week in February. During these times, the society and its members present a daily schedule of live programming on 99.1 FM and through livestream.
For the year 2014/2015 I was delighted to be elected Chairperson of the ITT Radio Society committee where we went on to win 'Best Society' at the Board of Irish College Societies (BICS) Awards, for the first time in the history of the society and in IT Tallaght.
I was re-elected as Chairperson for the year 2015/2016 and we went on to win Best Society for the second year in a row at the BICS awards, as well as 'Best Event' for Radio Week 2016 and I was absolutely delighted to be honored with the 'Best Individual' award.
Being part of this society was the most incredible experience during my time in IT Tallaght and has taught me so much which I will carry with me through life.
ITTFM Killer Karaoke
This is a promotional video which I featured in made by the ITT Radio Society to promote the 'Killer Karaoke' fundraising event. Being part of this video involved being slapped in the face with a fish as well as being covered in shaving foam! This promotional video went viral and also went on to win 'Best Promotional Video' at the Board of Irish College Societies (BICS) Awards in 2014.
