Chain Reaction
Chain Reaction is a short documentary film about D10 Skatepark in Ballyfermot which provides a safe place for young children and teens to develop new skills on BMX Bikes, encouraging them to stay out of trouble on the streets. For this documentary I had the role of sound operator, a role which I pride myself in and I'm proud to say that the documentary was shortlisted in the Limerick Film Festival in the category of 'Best Editing'.
The Doorman
In this short documentary film 'The Doorman', Conor O'Connell, head concierge at Brooks Hotel brings a new meaning to what an Irish welcome really is. I had the pleasure of producing this short documentary film, directed by Ellen Smith and I also worked as an editor inthe post-production phase.
Road to Rio
Road to Rio is a short documentary film which follows a young high board diver attempting to be the first Irish man to qualify for the Olympics in over 60 years. This documentary, featuring Olympic Gold medalist Tom Daley, delves into the extreme world of high board diving at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin and follows one young man’s dream to become an Olympic Gold Medalist. I worked as sound operator for this documentary, along side Ciaran O'Connor and am delighted to say that it was nominated for 'Best Factual' at the Limerick Film Festival 2016.
The Graveyard Shift
The Graveyard Shift is a short film about a terminally ill young man named Jeff who finds comfort in sneaking to the roof of the hospital for a smoke with an older patient, Trevor. One day. a young nurse named Linda finds the pair on the roof and she becomes a potential love interest for Jeff. I am delighted to have co-cast and produced this short film which will be released soon!
